How The Patterns Of Behaviors (archetypes Of Behavior) Are Evolved?

The patterns of behaviors include both the inborn and inherent tendencies of human mind to act in certain ways and its consciously learned behaviors.

Mind, behavior and patterns of behavior are thee things related and interconnected to each other.  Mind is not a concrete form or material form or entity. It is also not physical form yet real form to be comprehended.Mind is psychic reality. It is not mere speculation or fantasy.Mind is not hypothesis also.Mind is an abstract category that processes the input of sensory impressions in images.

Mythology is not mere fantasies or imaginative tales of curiosity and suspense of primitive psyche but images/ icons and symbols to unfold the mysteries of universe.

Brain is physical entity and is part of the nervous system of human body.  Brain and mind are not similar entities or identities.  One can not   be substituted for another.Brain has configuring or form but mind is formless. The configuration of brain is composed of cells, tissues etc but the configuration or form of mind is not composed such physical elements or units. Mind is form but not physical form. What activities the man does broadly constitutes his behavior.Behavior includes everything the man does.It is the particular way of working/ thinking or perceiving things or style of man.Behavior has its elements that constitute its body. When we perceive a material body we don’t see the parts; but the organization of parts in a fixed way or design. So our mental experience of things or world is of images not of parts or elements. This is the basis of Gestalt psycho logy.

The German word “Gestalt” means “form” or “configuration”.The basis of this Gestalt school of psychology is “organization and relationship” of the elements.Every element has its own configurations that depend on the atomic weight or number of electrons and protons moving in orbits. It is the organization and the resultant relationship of electrons, neutrons, protons that determines the nature or archetype of the element. The nature of humans is their archetype.Similarly it is the organization and the resultant relationship that is the mental experience. We experience the word events in “forms” or “configurations”

The pioneer psychologists belonging to gestalt school of psychology thought that the structuralists were wrong in thinking of mind as being made of elements.Gestalt school psychologists maintained that mind is not made up of simple elements but mind should be thought of as resulting from the whole pattern of sensory activity and relationships and organizations within this pattern.Take the example of a circle and the square made up of different dots.  It is the organization of dots and their inter relatedness that gives birth to the image of a circle or square. We never perceive of dots individually but collectively of the circle or square.Similarly human behavior is not the compounding of elements of behavior but it is the relatedness and organization of the feelings and emotions. In an individual the love, affectionate, contempt or hate behavior organization and relationship; the organization of emotions changes. In love the emotion is not organized same way as in hate. The mind and behavior are best understood the ways, the means, the elements are organized.

Every individual has its own pattern of behavior. The nine basic  human emotions and feelings scuh as anger, love, affection, war, fight, hatred and contempt, zealously are same for every individual and there exists similarity of sense organs as  their subjects such as eye—sight, nose –smell, skin—touch, ear—hearing, tongue-taste etc, but the organization and relationship of emotions is different. It is the difference in this organization and relationship of emotions that determines the pattern of behavior of a particular person.  So this confirmation and assertion it can be easily deduced that how many individual exist in this world, so many will be patterns of existence and behavior. So variety of behavior is bound to occur. But on the basis of similarity of the patterns of behavior of the individuals we can broadly frame fundamental behavior patterns.

We can term these “archetypes of behavior”.These archetypes of behavior are inherent in the unconscious of individual. These are expressed or get reflected in personality. To understand the mind and behavior patterns of human beings these are of paramount importance. So archetypes are the model of behaviors.  In brief archetype of behaviors may be defined as patterns of behavior, perception, identity, personality derived from collective unconscious of human race and community and inherent in the unconscious of the individual. They are portrayed as mosaic of fundamental symbolic forms or images which have evolved from the unfolding continuum of matter and life since the first creation of Adam and Eve in “Garden of Eden”
